Meet Our Team

Micheline Lalonde has been farming for 8 years, both in the city and the country. She studied Conflict Studies and Human Rights at the University of Ottawa. During this year, she became interested learning about food security and food sovereignty. After University, she began working on organic farms in Ontario. In Toronto, she has worked for a small urban farm operation that converted lawns into vegetable gardens. For the last five years, she worked on a rooftop farm operation in Leslieville.

Outside of work, Micheline, loves experimenting with floral art and natural dyes. She has begun growing mushrooms using recycled substrates. She enjoys spending time camping with her dog, exploring small towns in Ontario, and reading fictional books.
