Fresh Food Box
Program
The PACT Grow-to-Learn Program (GTL) and Food Security Initiative offers outdoor learning and growing spaces across 1.8 acres, benefiting thousands annually. Collaborating with Toronto's school boards, GTL transforms unused areas into thriving organic gardens. These gardens foster education in food, sustainability, and community building. GTL conducts workshops in under-resourced neighborhoods, providing fresh produce to local food banks and families.
Since 2012, over 100,000 pounds of produce have been distributed, enriching communities in need in the Greater Toronto Area.

“It helps us a lot in our daily life especially now
that everything has gone up in price and is very expensive! Plus all the staff are very warm to us and pleasant!”
The best part about the program is knowing I
could make meals with fresh vegetables in the
middle of the week when I could not afford to go to the store.
