PACT receives first-ever Urban Peace Award

The Wilf Wilkinson Peace award recognizes a Rotarian, Rotary Club, or friend of Rotary that, in the judgment of the District Governor, has made a significant contribution to defending, preserving, nurturing, and promoting a culture of peace and non-violence.

PACT wins Urban Leadership Award

Much-loved, former Toronto mayor, David Crombie, proudly announced that PACT had won the prestigious City Initiatives award alongside Mike “Pinball” Clemons and the Argos Stop the Violence Campaign.

PACT endorsed by United Nations

PACT has been endorsed by the United Nations Secretary General’s Study on Violence Against Children. The PACT program was attended by Kofi Annan’s handpicked independent expert. Below are some comments from the independent expert.

PACT LifePlan Coaching bestowed the 2013 Prism Award in the Non-Profit Sector

The PACT LifePlan Coaching Program was the 2013 recipient of the Toronto PRISM Award in the Non-Profit Sector. This award was presented to PACT by the Toronto Chapter of the International Coach Federation at their annual conference and luncheon in Toronto on Oct 22nd, 2013.

 

“This award acknowledges and underlines all the important and trailblazing work PACT is doing with our LifePlan Coaching Program in applying the coaching model to help turn around the lives of troubled youth who are in serious and repeat conflict with the law.”  –PACT Co-Founder David Lockett.

Councillor Karen Stintz recognized PACT founder with Volunteer of the Year Award.

​The Glen Purdy and Jake Bouwman Service Award

This is an award created by PACT in honour of Glen Purdy and Jake Bouwman from Sparwood B.C. who are true social-innovators and the inspiration behind PACT’s Restorative Justice beginnings. PACT bestows this award upon its own to recognize dedicated service in building urban peace. Past recipients include Rick Blouin, and Ben Marshall.
