Summer in the garden - finally! ⚘️

Our GTL garden staff, from right: Ratheesh, Marcelle and Abby are in full force everyday planting thousands of seeds, working with corporate groups, teaching student volunteers and gearing up for some amazing events.

1. 🍉 Community Dinners are the last Thursday of each month. Everyone is invited. June 25 from 3:30-6:30pm.

2. 🏫 School workshops can still be booked - click the link in the bio.

3. The Fresh Food Box starts June 17, 2026. This year, hundreds of folks will receive fresh produce thanks to the help of many. 🌽🥕🥔

50 baskets. 3 communities. One big act of love.

We are so proud to share that the PACT Urban Peace Program has distributed 250 baskets of non-perishable food to families across Lawrence Heights, Rexdale, and Scarborough.

This wouldn’t have been possible without some incredible people:

A huge thank you to Margaret Richmond of The Basket Korner, who put her heart and serious elbow grease into assembling every single basket.

Thank you to Bob Whitesell and his senior community for loading all 250 baskets — no small feat!

And a massive shoutout to the students of JPCI who showed up and showed out, unloading and moving every basket — because yes, they were heavy! 💪
