Student Placement FAQs

What types of student placements do you accept?

PACT can accommodate many levels of students including college, undergraduate and post-grad students. We’ve had students working on their Masters degrees, teachers college placements, ECE students and many others.

What types of opportunities do you offer?

At PACT, students can participate in youth mentoring in our Life & Job Skills programs; or work in our organic school gardens as part of agriculture/horticulture/urban gardening studies or as student mentor.

How many hours can you provide?

October-April: Up to 15 hours/week during our evening & weekend skills development and mentoring programming
May-September:  We can facilitate up to 40 hours/week in our school gardens and summer camp

*All students/volunteers/interns must submit to a vulnerable sector background check.
