Garden Field Trips

PACT GROW-TO-LEARN SCHOOLYARD GARDENS: FIELD TRIPS FOR STUDENTS IN GRADE 1 TO GRADE 12

Teachers and students are welcome to visit our organic gardens for half day school garden field trips – at no charge – that will allow students to become fully immersed in everything that the school yard garden has to offer!

Curriculum lessons are fully flexible depending on the grade, time of year or daily garden tasks. Visits can include learning about creepy crawlies and pollinators to planting and harvesting to cooking outdoors.

Take a look at some of our activity-based lessons for schools: http://pactprogram.ca/garden-activities-for-students-in-grades-1-8.

Our gardens are field trip hot spots and we are happy to host students and classes visiting from all over the GTA. Bring your sun hats and pack a lunch and ask about how you can use our outdoor kitchen area.

All school visits are free! For our three Toronto school garden locations, click here: http://pactprogram.ca/grow-to-learn-garden-classroom-for-toronto-schools/

Get in touch gtlworkshops@pactprogram.ca to schedule your class visit.
